Nose
Complex aromas of toffee, hints of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak. Also sweet mashed corn, caramel, vanilla, citrus, dark fruit, woody oak, minty rye.
Palate
Bold, dry and delicate with notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa. Also orange peel and subtle hints of baking spice, vanilla frosting, caramel, candied almond, baked pear, dark cherry, oak tannin, baking spice (clove, cinnamon, mint).
Finish
Dry and lingering. Also cocoa nib, toasted oak, whisper of orange zest. Long and oaky, with lingering toffee, subtle leather, and a touch of spice.
