Description

From Suntory's mountain distillery, Hakushu is found deep within the forests of Mount Kaikomagatake in the Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Owned by Suntory, founders of the first Japanese distillery, Yamazaki, the original Hakushu distillery was built in 1973. A second distillery building, Hakushu Higashi (East), was added in 1981. The Hakushu 12 Year Old is known for its crisp and gently smoky character with herbal notes.
