Description
Distilled at the Ardbeg distillery, released in 2017, this is the first core range release in a decade. It has been matured for an undisclosed length of time in a combination of Pedro Ximenez sherry, bourbon, and charred virgin oak casks before being bottled at 46.6% abv, free from chill filtration. It takes its name from the Mull of Oa, the southernmost point of Islay, and is described as having smoky power, mellowed by a delectable, smooth sweetness, with hallmark Ardbeg peat, dark chocolate, and aniseed wrapped in smooth, silky butterscotch.
